Competitive candidate profile:
- Well-organized, efficient, and service-minded: able to manage many small, time-sensitive tasks while keeping larger projects on track.
- Detail-oriented and conscientious: careful in tracking data and processes, with a strong instinct for producing accurate work and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
- Committed to mission-driven support work: Willing to spend at least a couple of years in an operations-focused role that includes some repetition and tedium; motivated by contributing to what the Farm Animal Welfare team needs most, even if it’s not glamorous.
- Demonstrated interest in and commitment to farm animal welfare work, though formal track record of past work experience in the movement is not necessary.
- Excellent communication skills and judgment: ability to express ideas clearly, both in writing and conversation, and navigate sensitive topics with care and professionalism as needed.
