ALI is Hiring: Communications & Design Lead

Aquatic Life Institute (ALI) is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong storytelling and design skills, and the ability to translate complex technical data into compelling, accessible visuals and messaging. This role requires a creative thinker who can develop high-impact communication materials that resonate with key audiences and strengthen ALI’s reputation as a global leader in aquatic animal protection.
 

Reporting to ALI’s Strategic Communications Partner, the Communications and Design Lead will craft engaging content, design clear and visually compelling materials, and execute communication campaigns that distill complex research into digestible, action-driving narratives. The Lead will ensure consistency across ALI’s digital and print materials, making technical information accessible to policymakers, industry leaders, and advocates, and elevating ALI’s presence in the global movement for aquatic animal welfare.

Hours: 36 hours per week

Location: Fully remote position – must have some overlap with EU and US time zones

Annual salary range: $50.5-60K USD, dependent on experience

Our compensation is benchmarked against US wages, and will not be adjusted based on regional cost of living. The compensation listed here will apply no matter where you are based.
