Animal Place is hiring an Operations Manager

About this role: The Operations Manager will work strategically with our team to advance our goals around sanctuary, education, and animal advocacy. In this role, you will provide integral support to our team across various operations functions and significantly impact our work. You will ensure we are operating optimally and set up to succeed by ensuring all our operational activities are running seamlessly, and that the whole Animal Place team feels well-supported to focus on their areas of responsibility. In this role, you will implement strategies, actions, and controls to evolve our operational processes and drive efficiencies. You will also be a key support for the rest of the team.  

The ideal candidate is an expert in systems, is collaborative, pays great attention to detail, is proactive, and uses good judgment. This is a hybrid position, with 3 days at our Grass Valley location and 2 days remote.

Job Status: Full-time

Supervision: Reports to the Executive Director

Salary: $65,000-75,000

Benefits: Health insurance, 403b (Animal Place matches 3%), vacation, holiday, sick time package, monthly commuting stipend, veterinary care stipend.

Location: Hybrid, office in Grass Valley, CA

Start Date: July 1, 2024
