Workshops for the implementation of commitments in Peru

In the framework of the cage-free commitments we have with the Universidad Privada del Norte (UPN) and its faculties of gastronomy and hotel management, and the inter-institutional agreement with the Municipality of San Bartolo, we conducted three workshops last week, where we generated a strong, forceful message and amplifying the message of animal welfare, sustainability, and plant-based food.

Within our corporate area, we made commitments to free the hens from their cages, these are not static, they are "living" commitments that advance, evolve and transform. Last year we explored possibilities and started implementation workshops for companies that already have announcements, to help them with their doubts and to train the people who work in these places, etc.

This continuity with the companies allows us to elaborate not only the route for them to complete their commitments quickly but this open door allows us to guide and raise awareness about the use of plant proteins and animal welfare, generates questioning and debate among students, surprise among adults and obviously transitions and new ideas that go towards a plant-based food or one that reduces animal suffering which, ultimately is the goal we all yearn for.
