Social media freelancer position at CIWF US

Role Summary:

Compassion in World Farming (CIWF) US is seeking a part-time, fixed-contract social media freelancer to play a vital role in expanding our reach and promoting our mission to end factory farming. Your responsibilities will be social media management, community engagement, content creation, and strategic support.

Services:

Social Media Management

• Manage CIWF US’ social media channels (focusing on Instagram, Facebook, and X) and engage with our online community by responding to messages and comments.
• Develop and publish compelling content on our social media channels to engage and inform our audience, within the topics of farmed animal welfare and animal-sourced foods reduction, 3 to 5 posts per week expected.
• Track performance and improve the content strategy
• (Lower priority for now) Collaborate with influencers to amplify our reach
• Be available for weekly 30-minute check-ins with our Public Engagement Manager.

We invite proposals from junior and experienced social media contractors alike.

Proposed start date: August 1, 2024

This is a part-time, fixed contract role and is not to be deemed an employment contract. The successful contractor will be self-employed for all purposes.
